The stunning apartment is a 5 minute tram ride from the central station. Tegel airport is 20 minutes by car and 35 minutes by public transport. The apartment has high ceilings with original 19th century stucco work and retains many of the original wood parquet flooring. The large original windows and bay window in the dining room bring light and an open feel to the apartment. The apartment is furnished with original antiques. The kitchen is fully fitted with SMEG and Miele appliances. The apartment is situated in a house dating back to 1886. The apartment has been carefully restored and retrains the original woodwork and ceiling mouldings. The magnificent parquet flooring and impressive doors dating back to the late 19th century have been fully restored to their former glory. The apartment is spacious with 4 meter high ceilings. The apartment retains its original wooden floors and doors and is furnished with antique 19th century furniture. Each piece of furniture has been carefully selected to fit with the original time period of the apartment. Careful craftsmanship and carpentry can be seen in the contemporary details in the kitchen and the en-suite bathroom where original elements have been artfully transformed. Even in the new bathrooms and kitchen, the history of the building, through the recycling of the original elements, is preserved. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge-freezer, Smeg oven, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, blender/food processor and all the necessary utensils, dishes, crockery and silverware for cooking and preparing food.
