Standard lease terms include: fixed-term per § 549 BGB, all-inclusive rent, deposit capped at three months' net cold rent, and a Wohnungsgeberbestätigung for address registration.
Step 4: Centralized billing. One invoice per unit per month, addressed to the company. VAT-compliant (Netto + 19% USt.), suitable for expense reporting and tax deduction. For multiple units, we can provide consolidated monthly statements.

Lease documentation. The company lease must clearly state: the company as the contracting tenant, the named employee as authorized occupant, the fixed lease term, the all-inclusive rent amount, the deposit (max. three months' net cold rent per § 551 BGB), and the property address. This documentation supports both German tax compliance and the employee's administrative needs.
VAT-compliant invoicing. FARAWAYHOME and our providers issue invoices with properly itemized net rent plus 19% VAT (Umsatzsteuer), suitable for input tax deduction (Vorsteuerabzug) by the employing company. For companies outside Germany, reverse-charge mechanisms may apply.
