SIGHTS AND LANDMARKS
With the Victory Column one the most important landmarks of the capital is in Berlin Tiergarten. The 67 Meter high “Goldelse” as many locals refer to it is today listed. To get up to the observation platform you have to climb 285 steps and are rewarded with a lovely view across Berlin.
The German Bundestag is also located in Tiergarten. The Reichstag is regarded as one of the most popular sights in Berlin which also down to the unique architecture. After reunification the building was extensively renovated and a new glass dome was fitted. It is recommended to go on a guided tour of this impressive building.
The old centre of the city, Potsdamer Platz, is today also a very popular place for tourists and visitors. Numerous restaurants, cinemas, theatres and a shopping centre are located here. One highlight here is the Panoramapunkt. With Europe’s fastest lift you shoot up and then are able to enjoy an impressive view across Berlin’s skyline.
CULTURAL OFFERINGS

The New National Gallery houses works of European painting and plastics from the 20th century. Picasso, Dalí, Miró and Laurens are exhibited here. Berlin Kulturforum not far from the Potsdamer Platz lures visitors with its museums, concert houses and libraries. Largely independent the institutions are grouped around a central place and form a cultural centre.
It is worth considering spending the evening in Tipis am Kanzleramt. In a unique location in the midst of the city you can enjoy theatre, show and musicals of young and well-known artists.
Culture enthusiasts will surely not want to miss out on visiting the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. It is not only a musical highlight but the architecture of the building will fascinate visitors whilst attending one of the regular concerts.
SHOPPING
Berlin Tiergarten is the right place for shopping enthusiasts as two of the most popular shopping centres are located here. In the Potsdamer Platz Arcades you are able to choose from more than 130 specialist shops providing for the perfect shopping experience at the Potsdamer Platz. For a little break you can stop off and rest in one of the 30 restaurants, bars and cafés. There is an even bigger choice in the LP12 Mall of Berlin which is only a brief walk from Potsdamer Platz. On more than four floors there are more than 270 specialist shops and restaurants. After a long day at the shops the way home is not long as our apartments are ideally located.
PARKS
During your stay in one of our furnished apartment in you can unwind in the more than 210 hectare large Tiergarten Park. It is frequently compared with the Central Park in New York or Hyde Park in London the Tiergarten Park is a green oasis in the capital. Whether a picnic or a stroll around the lake: here you will escape the hustle and bustle of the capital for the day. You will be able to find a smaller park towards the north of the Tiergarten Park. This is the Fritz--Schloß-¬Parkwith a smaller size of only 12 hectares but nearly as beautiful as the Tiergarten Park.
GASTRONOMY
With a number of restaurants Tiergarten offers culinary friends a huge selection of national and international dishes. Spanish cuisine is provided at Tiergarten Park, in the Restaurant Cinco by Paco Pérezin the midst of a unique ambience and a location with impressive interior. The brasserie Debrosses provides you at the Potsdamer Platz with exclusive French cuisine. Here you again dine in a splendid ambience and are taken into the world of Brittany. Regional dishes are served to guests in the “Café am neuen See” directly situated in theTiergarten Park an. In a laid back atmosphere you are able to taste German food in a completely new way. In the own beer garden the annual Oktoberfest is celebrated.
