We are renting out our fully furnished bungalow with a minimum rental period of 6 months – perfect for people who are temporarily living in Berlin for professional or academic reasons. An extension of up to a maximum of 2 years is possible.
The house is situated in a quiet area of Berlin-Zehlendorf, behind the Düppel Museum, and is only 10 minutes away from the John F. Kennedy School and the John F. Kennedy Institute at Freie Universität Berlin.
The house was extensively renovated over 5 years and is in excellent, well-maintained condition. It is comparable to a high-quality Airbnb – tenants only need to bring their suitcase.

Smoking inside the house is not permitted
We especially welcome inquiries from guest teachers, visiting professors, researchers and expats who are looking for a fully furnished home in Berlin for a limited period of time.
Good to know
- The basement contains personal belongings of the owners. Tenants are welcome to use these items, but must return them to their original place after use.
- Playing the piano is permitted.
- The house features two fireplaces, which tenants are welcome to use.
- The garden is available for tenants to use freely. A spacious terrace invites you to enjoy time outdoors. Barbecuing is permitted – a gas grill is available.
- The garden is regularly maintained by a gardener.
- Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the house.
- Pets are unfortunately not allowed.
- The property will be handed over in well-maintained condition and must be returned in the same condition.
- Key handover and move-in date will be arranged by mutual agreement. The property is available from the end of August – the exact date is flexible and can be arranged individually.
- Waste disposal: four bins are available – general waste, organic, paper, and plastic.
- Security deposit: 2 months' cold rent, due before move-in.

- It is not permitted to smoke inside any FARAWAYHOME property.
- Smoking inside the house is not permitted.
- Pets are not allowed.
- The property must be treated with care and returned in the same condition as received.
- Subletting is not permitted.
- Waste must be properly sorted and separated.
- Garden tools must be cleaned after use and returned to their original place.
- The fireplaces may only be used with suitable fuel.
- Duplicate keys may not be made without the owners' permission.
- The piano may be played but must not be moved or altered.
- The sauna is available for use – specific usage rules will be provided upon move-in.
- A gas grill is available on the terrace. If the gas cylinder runs out, it must be replaced at the tenant's own expense.
