• This home has a minimum stay of 1 months.
• Maximum 2 residents allowed.
• It is not permitted to smoke inside any FARAWAYHOME Apartment.
• ARTICLE 1 - TERMS OF ACCESS TO THE APART’HOTEL
• The Apart’hotel is accessible to any individual person or group
• of people. When a group of people are staying in one or several
• apartments, one individual person representing the group will be
• held responsible for any damage that may occur during their stay.
• This person will be designated on arrival to the residence.
• The maximum number of people admitted depends strictly on the
• type of apartment reserved, as defined in the special conditions.
• Thus the Management of this Citadines Apart’hotel reserves the
• right to refuse entrance to any excess guests.
• ARTICLE 2 - PETS
• The presence of pets on the premises is accepted by the
• Management by prior agreement only. Subject to this agreement,
• the resident will be careful to meet the relevant obligations and
• ensure that the building and its surroundings are not soiled.
• ARTICLE 3 - HANDING OVER THE KEYS
• The keys/access cards are handed over to the resident by
• Reception after the above-mentioned conditions of access
• have been accepted and the registration formalities have been
• completed. The keys will be handed back when the resident or
• the group leaves. It is strictly forbidden to have copies of the keys/
• access cards made or to have extra locks placed on the door.
• When a resident loses the key/access card to his apartment,
• the barrel of the lock will be changed for security reasons. The
• resident will be billed for this replacement.
• ARTICLE 4 - PERMANENT RESIDENCY PROHIBITED
• The resident is forbidden to use or diffuse the address or
• telephone number of Citadines Apart’hotel as his principal place
• of residence or his business address.
• ARTICLE 5 - PERSONAL PROPERTY
• Citadines Apart’hotel cannot be responsible for the safekeeping
• of any personal property left by the resident in his apartment,
• whether he is present or not.
• ARTICLE 6 - PEACE AND QUIET
• The resident must be careful not to disturb the peace at any given
• time as a result of his behavior or that of the members of his
• family, his guests or his pets.
• The use of radio and television sets (or other electrical appliances
• supplied by Citadines Apart’hotel) is authorised as long as the
• resultant noise does not annoy his neighbours and that local
• police regulations are observed.
• ARTICLE 7 - WINDOWS AND BALCONIES
• It is forbidden to shake, brush or hang carpets or other objects
• out of the windows; it is likewise forbidden to hang washing over
• the balconies.
• ARTICLE 8 - USE OF COMMUNAL AREAS
• The resident must not obstruct communal areas (lobby, corridors,
• car parks...), for any length of time, with any object whatsoever
• (bicycles, bags, bags of rubbish...).
• ARTICLE 9 - LAUNDERETTE
• The washing machine and dryer are at the disposal of residents
• on their own responsibility.
• Instructions for using the machines are found in the launderette.
• Both the machines and the launderette should be left as clean as
• they were before use.
• ARTICLE 10 - REFUSE AND RUBBISH-DISPOSAL UNITS
• All rubbish should be put in robust, waterproof bags and left
• in the designated place. If there is a garbage-disposal unit, it is
• strictly forbidden to throw liquid, oily or foul-smelling substances
• down it; using it to dispose of burning cigarette ash, bottles or
• any object likely to block or damage it is likewise forbidden.
• ARTICLE 11 - CITADINES FIXTURES AND FITTINGS
• The layout, fixtures and fittings of the residence cannot, under
• any condition, be modified in any way whatsoever.
• The resident is furthermore forbidden to move out any of the
• furniture or equipment belonging to Citadines Apart’hotel or to
• move in any supplementary fittings.
• ARTICLE 12 - MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS
• The resident will look after their premises and ensure it is kept
• clean and tidy. They are not authorised to carry out repairs
• themself. If carpets, wall-paper, furnishings etc. are stained,
• he must contact the Management, who has all the necessary
• cleaning products and equipment. The cost of repairing, cleaning
• and replacing articles on the inventory will be charged to the
• resident and must be settled before the resident checks out.
• On a more general basis, any act that has led to any kind of
• damage to the residence, its outbuildings, furnishings, fixtures
• or fittings, which is not due to normal wear and tear, will result
• in the resident bearing by himself the whole cost of the repairs
• and refurbishment.
• ARTICLE 13 - VISITING THE PREMISES
• The Management reserves the right to visit the rented apartment
• to verify the state of the premises, to verify the equipment is
• in good working order and to carry out repairs, renovations or
• conversions.
• ARTICLE 14 - POLICE REGULATIONS
• Each resident will be held responsible for infringing upon other
• people’s rights or violating local police regulations.
• ARTICLE 15 - VACATING THE PREMISES
• The resident should contact Reception at least 24 hours before
• leaving to arrange checking-out formalities and vacating their
• apartment.
