The landmark in Prenzlauer Berg, locals refer to the district as Prenzlberg, is the more than 100 year old water tower

. Along three kilometres well established fashion labels meet small designer shops and boutiques. On the north side of the shopping street you can find the Schönhauser Allee Arcades
. Again, here the focus is fashion though tech fans will also find a lot on offer. The Kastanienallee is a road off Schönhauser Allee and has the reputation of being a hip scene. With its numerous designer shops, boutiques but also high-quality second-hand shops it is frequently described as the “creative centre” of Prenzlauer Berg. The Volkspark Prenzlauer Berg is one of the largest parks in this district. On 29 hectares unadulterated park ground meets art. Spread across 20 buildings and six connected courtyards you will find restaurants, a theatre and even a cinema.
